There are various demands we have to meet: the expectations we place on ourselves and those others place on us. What\u2019s more, we spend more and more time working in front of a screen, which provides far more stimulation than our brains are designed to handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s easy for it all to become too much for our system to handle. If we catch it early enough, it might be enough to take a step back and treat ourselves to a break so we can recover. But if we just keep pushing on, trying to tough it out and ignoring our body\u2019s signals time and time again, there comes a point when it all comes to a halt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the nervous system is overloaded, everything that used to be easy \u2013 everything we took for granted \u2013 suddenly becomes a major challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To recover from it, we need to understand how it happened and what is going on in the body in such a situation.<br>On one side, it\u2019s about calming the nervous system and resting, but rest alone isn\u2019t enough; we need to rebuild the body, increase our resilience to stress and understand where things went wrong. We need to equip ourselves with the tools to find a better balance in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019d be happy to support you on your journey to recovery.
